Hastings: Downtown Hastings, NE is one of the coolest small towns in the country and we bet you’ve never even heard of it! There are tons of dining and shopping options as well as places to get out of the cold – your family’s going to love it.
Ridge Road Drive: If you prefer the warn air inside the car take a trip down the Ridge Road – better known as the Bohemian Alps. It’s picturesque even in the winter and you can set up base camp in Seward, NE.
Cedar Hills Vineyard: Just because the grapes aren’t blooming doesn’t mean you can’t taste some incredible vintages from Nebraska’s premiere wine region. Start at Cedar Hills in Ravenna and head West – there are dozens of wineries along the way and while you’re out there don’t forget to sample local delicacy, ice wine!
