What it Does

An active and growing Legacy Fund provides support for an active and growing RC&D region. It can help with diverse projects such as:

• Invasive species prevention, control and eradication
• Rural & community development projects
• Range, forage & livestock programs
• Tourism enhancement activities
• Forestry projects
• Hazardous waste reduction and recycling
• Value Added Agriculture
• Business enhancement, recruitment & development
• Renewable Energy/Bioenergy development

These independently raised funds can provide peace of mind for the continuation of the RC&D Planning Council's important mission even in years when federal and state funding for projects may be reduced or eliminated.
